seanl82 23 Posted April 29, 2012 Was the tracking and camber done after it was lowered? That'd be my first port of call anyway.
carrots 1 Posted April 29, 2012 tracking was done when i changed the wishbones a while back.how do you adjust the camber
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 29, 2012 you need to get a full geometry setup, tracking alone isnt enough. the geometry setup will adjust the camber, caster as well as the toe in/out
carrots 1 Posted April 29, 2012 how do you adjust the camber tho, trackrod ends for toe in or tow out but i cant see anything that would adjust the camber
floppyman 0 Posted April 29, 2012 Camber is adjusted on the balljoint and where the hub bolts into the shock... You cant really adjust it without laser machines.
carrots 1 Posted April 29, 2012 ok cheers i wouldnt of thought there would of been much adjustment there tho
james153 0 Posted April 29, 2012 ok cheers i wouldnt of thought there would of been much adjustment there tho theres tons of adjustment there about +2 to - 4 degrees, enough to change the cars handling by alot.
VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted April 29, 2012 my car needs wheel alignment but it feels fine in the corners, i dont think the problem to your question is wheel alignment but worth getting done,
seanl82 23 Posted April 29, 2012 Depends if its camber related though. Neg camber and its fine when cornering. Pos camber and theres very little contact with tyres and road. Same with the Toe. Toe out and its gonna be very skittish indeed when cornering!
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 29, 2012 Just re-read your original post. How low is it? Too low can have adverse affects.
carrots 1 Posted April 30, 2012 not sure how low because it was like that when i bought it.its not as low as some ive seen
