mmacneill123 0 Posted June 4, 2012 Hi out there, are there any possible gotchas changing the fuel filter? Looks like a straightforward job but remembering what happened to my Rocco (RIP) when the fuel pipe disintegrated and i caused an emergency incident as petrol sprayed everywhere in the services (funny now but not at the time) :-) It is a 2L/16 with the fuel filter next to the rear pump :-) Cheers
Supercharged 2 Posted June 4, 2012 Worth getting new banjo bolts and be very careful not to twist the pipes so use 2 spanners to undo.
16VG60 1 Posted June 4, 2012 Before attempting to undo the banjo bolts and filter retaining bracket pinch bolt, soak them all in penetrating fluid to release any hold corrosion has on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
