when is a newbie not a newbie?

just wondered when you get "promoted" from newbie status?

have seen a few members that have been registered for years

dont get me wrong i'm not fussed about my status

i just thought it was strange seein someone thats been on

here for three years plus bein reffered to as a newbie so

just wondered how it worked tbh.

i have subscribed to this fantastic forum of ours/yours

and is a small price to pay to boot,as the time,money saved

and tips,know how and knowledge i've gotten from it far

outways a few bob a month imo.

i'd be lost at times without it:thumbleft:

Thanks Ste, I know Andi will appreciate it as the server costs are quite high in order to provide such a large and (hopefully) rapid forum.

 

The actual statuses are based on post count rather than length of membership.

lol, i'll have gone mental after 6 years of fixing one

problem just in time to find another one(or corrado ownership,as its also known).

Good question - have been on the forum for 7 years but still a newbie as I don't post that often! Always wandered what would trigger getting to 'regular'!
