lewvw 10 Posted September 18, 2012 Intermittently when gently accelerating 2nd/3rd gear 20-35mph my car will feel like it has hit a brick wall which usually stalls the engine, for the first time today it did not stall though. lewvw 10 Posted September 27, 2012 Well it happened again today on tesco roundabout quedgeley in rush hour and nearly got me shunted and written off :( so I had a quick look under bonnet wiggling all engine related terminals and found my crank sensor wiring just sitting on the front crossmember [ATTACH=CONFIG]69564[/ATTACH] Gave it a quick wiggle and sure enough it killed the engine instantly, further inspection revealed the engine loom side has rubbed through and corroded.
