Topmounts

Hi guys. Trying to buy some topmounts for my corrado. It's running the vr6 type. Tried to buy some from vw and they say only the rear uppers are available from them now.

 

I know there are cheaper versions available but as I understand it they don't last long at all so I would rather not fit them and would prefer to put some decent quality ones on.

 

Does anybody know of any decent ones that are available?

 

Even considering some compbrake uprated ones for the front to which should last for quite a while.

 

I know it's been the case for a few years now, but at the moment as I'm rebuilding my car there are more and more parts that are becoming unavailable / hard to source. Sometimes even the simplest of parts.

That's rubbish - new ones are available as are the bearings which are a MK4 part.

Thanks supercharged. So I can basically just order mk4 topmounts and they will work fine?

oh, might be wrong about the rubber part, they may be mk4 specific and the corrado needs mk3 rubber mountings

Oh well not a big deal. If they work when they come great of not I'll just get some more.
