Pretensioning rear beam vr6

Can anyone scan me a copy of the Bentley manual for pretensioning the rear bushes, I have page 42.2 42.3 but not the bit about how to do this

 

I'm tackling it tomorrow so much appreciated

if you haven't moved the beam brackets, then you'll find you have to lever the trailing arm into the brackets, that's what i had to do and thats what I understand as 'pretensioning' the beam.

The Bentley does not say how to pretension only that you should. It does say as noted above, insert right side then lever in left side, there's really no need to get over complicated or concerned!

The Bentley manual clearly shows the procedure for the pre-tension with diagrams, as does the Lindsay manual, I double checked before lending him it.

Its not complicated as said, but slightly more involved than stated above
