PhatVR6 0 Posted April 19, 2004 Just looking at the way the pipe comes through the front rad support. anyone been tempted to stick a cooler in the pipe? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 19, 2004 I thought it already was acting as an oil cooler by being routed that way by VW? It's in the airflow. My old Bimmer had a kettle element shaped PAS pipe which slowed the fluid down enough to be cooled by airflow. That's about all you can do really as I've never seen a 'mocal' type PAS cooler before, must be a reason for that.
