CazzaVR 0 Posted December 8, 2012 Sounds like a vac leak to me- I would double check all the hoses and ISV.
Saichy 10 Posted December 8, 2012 Best way of checking for leaks?? Take pipes off and refit? Look for splits? Anything else?? Driving me mad
Wullie 1 Posted December 9, 2012 There is a large hose under the air feed just after the fuel distributer which fits into a grey valve. It's only a couple of inches long/ inch diameter, and will give your symptoms if disconnected.
_Meth 0 Posted December 10, 2012 Its an air leak problem without a doubt. make sure manifold is sealed and every pipe around is also sealed & connected.
tentonhammer 10 Posted December 10, 2012 Check the long thin breather hose that is connected to the dual thermostat located underside of throttle body air intake tunnel to the air box. Without this connected the car won't start for sh*t.

tentonhammer 10 Posted December 10, 2012 That's a pretty neat diagram Wullie, where's it from?
Wullie 1 Posted December 10, 2012 Found it on here ages ago and thought it worth keeping. Comes in handy a times like this.
