shifter weight for g60 box???

i heard there was a weight you can fit to the gear change mech on a g60 that smooths it up a bit

 

so i quized vw and ordered one that looked right from a vr6....when it came it looked almost right except the weight has a locating pin and 1 bolt hole...my shifter lever only has 1 bolt hole

 

any ideas whats the right one to ask for..my car is a 2wd g60 golf with the fmic
