If it's only the plastic one you want and not the leather these are still available from your VW dealer and not bank bustingly expensive..

 

Wait - are you talking about the long piece of plastic that covers the metal arm or just the grip? Either way also available from VW still I believe :)

Bit that covers the metal arm - previous owner siliconed it back on but its come off now ha

Just looked and can't seem to find it at the moment, but I will keep looking over the weekend if nobody else can help you out.

Part number on my one is 535 711 463. Think they're about £30-something new, so my one's staying put :D

Well that ticks off the buying it new box, will definitely get a used one then.

They used to be under a fiver but the prices always go mad just before they discontinue things...

 

If you do get a used one check the rear slot is pretty much parallel, they tend to open out when fitted and removed more than once.
