did a complete valet of my interior this weekend an in the process broke my seat adjuster. When you pull the (forward/back) handle it moves a metal tube which in turn should pull a metal U shape connecting to a spring load lock pin.

Now for some reason my U is outside the bar - and I cant get the damn thing back on.

any ideas ?

I think if you remove the seat altogether (10mm bolt at front of seat i think) you will be able to slot it back in where it's supposed to be. You might not even have to take the whole seat out, mabye just slide it back a bit. Hopefully I've understood your problem correctly and helped you out. I'm sure that if I'm wrong, someone will correct me soon enough. 8)
