Copy and paste on mac

Can someone help me out please ? . I cant seem to copy and paste pics from iphoto onto the forum ? If i click on a photo and select copy then select paste ,all i get is an iphoto library numbers n stuff come up ,not the photo . Surely i can should be able to take a photo from there and paste it . Thanks Rob

No - you need to either attach them or host them online somewhere and insert a picture link

You need to use something like Photobucket and tag the photo , if you use photobucket you can copy the whole lot including the image tags.

if im right on a mac you can just drag and drop the image?

Well you should be able to upload from iPhoto. Copying isn't really an issue because the photo needs to be hosted either on the forum or elsewhere e.g. Photobucket as mentioned.

I can upload from iphoto to photobucket , just seems a bit longwinded to me ? . Just thought i should be able to take it straight from mac to forum .
