g60 exhaust on 1.8 16v

Im just wondering sbout thd compatibility of the two. Will a G60 exhaust be ok on a 1.8 valvet?

Both cars are early spec

They are fairly similar but G60 doesn't have intermediate silencer - back box is identical, but the suitcase silencer has a long input pipe in leiu of the intermediate silencer.

 

I've had both cars in early form and put exhausts on each of them.
