Banger Racing (Poor Raddo)

I went to a banger race yesterday and look what i saw in the "Hot Rod" class.

With a Vauxhall engine, if I'm not mistaken...?

humm, I don't think that there's actually a lot of corrado in that... :? The engine's definately not VW (looks like a cosworth) and is fitted the other way around so it's probably RWD too!

AFAIK, it's RWD with fibreglass body and 2.0L 16v XE Vauxhall engine on throttle bodies, 250 BHP ish,

 

Also, a girl I know, her brother races 2 x Hot-rod class Corrado's in race series up here, apparently he's in 2nd place in championship, will try and get some pics from her,

there's a new series borne out of the hot rods for these spaceframe monsters. all vauxhall red top engines RWD. good for 160mph+. the series is running around all major uk tracks and there are 3 or 4 corrados racing. there were a couple at the Autosport show this year.
