aide 0 Posted April 10, 2013 tracing a non starting fault and cant find parts local, need; - known good coil - mines an early vr, so known working dizzy and hall sender now need help with this one - ive searched but cant get definite answer on whether a dizzy vr has a crank position sensor, figure i may as well get a known working cps to test if they do???? cheers. dubbers 0 Posted April 11, 2013 I have a coil on my 94 Vr6 that i'm reluctantly currently breaking for spares. Not sure if this would be the same as an earlier Vr?. I would also have the other bit but not sure what it is so if your interested then maybe you could send me a pic or describe to me what it looks like & it's location. aide 0 Posted April 12, 2013 been doing a bit of reading, understand the dizzy and coilpack coils are in fact different, something to do with how they're triggered. have to give it a miss i'm afraid. still on lookout for a dizzy coil for testing...
