Supercharged 2 Posted May 13, 2013 You can't but Stealth Racing may be able to send you a de-activated ECU in exchange for yours...

fla 9 Posted May 13, 2013 check to see if your relay 109 has not failed - this is for the ecu and will do just that: stop power to the sparks and injectors. About £15 from the dealer. Also check the crank sensor on the front of the block.
Supercharged 2 Posted May 13, 2013 ^ Yeah, worth getting VAGCOM plugged in, if it is the immob it will be fairly obvious - 'engine start blocked'

Carl&trish 10 Posted May 15, 2013 Just picked up 109 relay from vw but I don't think it's the right one its small and grey and only has 4 pins on it 3 large and 1 small , when I've look for relays for the vr they have all been large black relays ?
