borders16v 0 Posted May 24, 2013 Has anyone got an idea why my pump is making so much noise after i changed the pas pipes and refilled with the vw pas fluid? The pump didnt run when dry and it was slowly refilled and the cap was left off so it could release any trapped air. Maybe it will get better with time or should i remove the cap and continue to release any trapped air maybe. Thanks for any ideas. BTW how do i tighten the pas belt or am i best to renew it. Ta. Supercharged 2 Posted May 24, 2013 It will be air - takes a few days to calm down... Just do a few lock to locks around a car park - should go within a few miles!
borders16v 0 Posted May 24, 2013 Thanks for the reply guys. Will give it a few days for the air to dissipate and get the long awaited new belt on.Hopefully that will sort it just leaving the windscrean replacement that needs doing, cheers.
