Temperatures

Just out of interest, what sort of maximum temperatures are you folks getting from the MFA oil temperature display?

 

Also, how high does your water temp gauge read once the engine is well warmed up just before the thermostat takes effect?

Perhaps there should be a note for new members to search for problems/queries before they start asking questions, this would go someway to avoid the sort of replies at the beginning of this thread. Just a thought :)

Well seeing as though mine was the only other reply, I hope it was taken (as with most of my other posts! lol) with a pinch of salt and a bit of humour!

 

Fair enough these are fairly common questions and maybe it's because I need to get out more (yeah that's just what the missus says! :roll: ), but it might just be because most of us regulars know that the answers are usually always lurking behind the search function.

I managed to hit a new high for my oil temp last night of 130. :shock:

 

I was going round Knockhill at the time though. 8)
