robrado974 1 Posted July 22, 2013 As above , if the new pump turns up on Tuesday , I would like to fit it in the evening . I have removed plug , screw cap etc . Is it just a case of removing fuel pipes and lifting it out ? . Thanks Rob
Jon_vr6 1 Posted July 22, 2013 The black cap removal is the hardest part after that remove fuel lines from top then lift top off reach inside and turn the pump anti clock wise and it should pop off the clips at the bottom of the tank. Remember to mark up where the top should sit so you know where things go when you put back together (take pics) Remove sender off old pump and transfer onto new one Replace in reverse ---------- Post added at 11:28 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:26 AM ---------- Also get some jubilee clips to replace the ones on the fuel lines (13-15mm should do)
