borarob 0 Posted August 23, 2013 My car came with a halfords battery that was goosed, I bought another and afterwards I thought I'd try and see if halfords would honour their 4 year warranty on the battery. Well blow me they did, even though I didn't have a receipt. So I now have, surplus to requirements a new battery. Pick up only for obvious reasons. pretty sure if memory serves me it is this model - will confirm later http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_264129_langId_-1_categoryId_165762 after £40, as i say brand new, straight from the shop into my garage, as I say they honoured the warranty even without a receipt so this could give you peace of mind for the next 4 years. i'm in Poole, Dorset

2sheds 10 Posted August 23, 2013 All the new ones in store are now made by Yuasa. Glws ;)
borarob 0 Posted August 23, 2013 i was just trying to find out who they are actually made by, some say Yuasa, some say Varta. Both good brands, if you look for reviews these batteries get good reviews. I'd have used it myself save for the fact I'd bought and fitted another batteru before i'd realised I could swap the old one, plus I got a higher capacity one.
