LukeManic 0 Posted October 13, 2013 Hello, I'm in the middle of replacing the rear suspension on my Corrado VR6 (1993). I made an attempt to build the shocks up today replacing the bump stops and bushes etc, I was then ready to fix the upper spring seat in place and feed the shock bar through it when I realised that the hole on the spring seat was too small. I had the original shocks on the car before which had thinner bars, has anyone else had this problem with Koni 8041 1108 and the original VR6 upper spring seats? Many thanks, Luke. GrahamU 6 Posted October 13, 2013 I found this when I fitted a pair to the rear of my 16v, I got them cheap of the bay and assumed the VRs had larger diameter threads. I ended up drilling the holes out to fit

Supercharged 2 Posted October 14, 2013 Yep that's normal - I thought it was part of the Koni instructions too but they need drilling out by 1mm I think.
