b20wht 10 Posted October 19, 2013 Just recently bought myself a toy in the form of a corrado 2.0 16v. After checking it over under the bonnet I noticed that the white temp sensor on the right hand side of the engine was unplugged, I plugged it back in and it started to run like a bag of nails, so bought a new sensor but this is doing the same thing! Its runs well without it plugged in, so what could be the cause of it? Don't know if its related but its had the cat and lambda sensor removed as well. Any ideas/help with this please? ross k 10 Posted October 20, 2013 your car needs the lambda sensor i would imagine as when i got my 2.0 it ran like crap turned out the guy was running with no lambda sensor plugged it back in and ran great as the lambda effects the fueling when the cars running so i would suggest that could be part of you problem hope that helps thanks ross
b20wht 10 Posted October 20, 2013 I thought as much thanks for your help. Is the plug for the lambda sensor located kind of behind the engine on the drivers side with a 4 pin connecter? Its the only spare plug I can see.
