Where for a good set of leads?

Recommended Posts

I'm doing a full service and some other bits and pieces on the vr6 in the next week or so.

I need to get a set of plug leads but where I usually buy my parts won't sell me a set because id only end up bringing them back in!

Where can I get a good set of leads that's not going to cost me the earth?

Don't get ElectroSpark ones. I bought a set of these from GSF, and one by one they failed over the course of 3 or 4 years. Of the 5, only 1 is still serviceable.

Right now, my Corrado is back on the original 1993 vintage VW leads made by Beru IIRC.

When funds allow, I plan on getting a new set from VW.

VW spares show Beru ones on their site, so that could be a good option.

I got a set of CSP leads from GSF to get me out of a mess and they seem fine. Less than £40 as well.

Magnacore leads without a doubt. Very well made. 'Phone the company themselves and get a discount. Years of great service!
