Jon_vr6 1 Posted December 20, 2013 They are obsolete, but can be repaired by gently prying it open and re soldering the dry parts
Rams 0 Posted December 20, 2013 Cheers. I know a man that is good with that kind of delicate stuff. I also read some other post saying to check if the connection by the servo is connected and the ABS light did only come on after fitting the new obd2 loom for the second time. So maybe it's not connected. Will check first. If not, maybe damaged when they removed the servo for access to the fuse box wiring area removing/feeding wires through? Jon_vr6 1 Posted December 20, 2013 Yeah possibly been damaged or old age wear and tear, Vince at stealth knows the ins and out of repairing the sensor if you get stuck

Rams 0 Posted December 20, 2013 Yes please, Is it straight forward to fit?
StueyB 0 Posted December 20, 2013 I'm not gunna say easy but it's technically one cir-clip holding it in and a good wiggle to free the sensor up. Assuming we are talking about the sensor unit that sticks out of the servo..? Difficulty will be removing it whilst the servo is in position. I've removed the 2/3 I have after removing the servo. StueyB 0 Posted December 21, 2013 Good, means I'm not going mad then. :D Happy to post one out for you to try...? Only reason I say try is I have 2-3 in a box and visually you have no way of telling if they are better or worse than what you have...?
Rams 0 Posted December 21, 2013 Can it be checked with a volt meter? Is there a 2 pun plug at one end? I've never seen one up close.
