delfinis38 1 Posted January 11, 2014 I'm convinced there's some shady listings going on in their classifieds at the moment. A friend of mine is car hunting currently and we looked at several classifieds yesterday which listed something like "I can't be contacted through piston heads but please call this number" - in every case the cars were way, way too cheap for what they were… I'd give that a wide berth personally. Just been looking for an a3 sline exactly like this advert
BILLCOR 1 Posted January 12, 2014 I reported the listing yesterday, the dodgy add has disappeared, this one has now appeared http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-r32-r/volkswagen-golf-mk4-r32-------------------2003/1988198 I preferred the other price
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted January 13, 2014 Yeah that is 100% a scam. Reg shows it as a R32, maybe it is the bargain of the year, my mate has a four door R and for some reason seems to think his seats are recaro, I guess not everyone is up to speed on specs. Or just unobservant because "Konig" is embroided into both door facing thigh bolsters.
