wayney74 0 Posted February 16, 2014 I own a 1991 corrado g60 in nugget yellow which is in standard spec. I've been told that there was only ever 28 of these in yellow imported into the country, is this true, and how many are left. I believe there is only around 300 g60's in total either sorned or still on the roads. I was thinking of selling her on, but now i'm not so sure weather to keep and restore her. On a different note i was also thinking of modifying to a 16v g60 using as many vw parts as possible and make it a profesional transplant as vw did in the golf limited. Has anyone done this in the uk? and would it de-value it to nothing? Not been on her long so lots of feedback would be encoraged. Many thanks Wayne
seanl82 23 Posted February 16, 2014 Welcome! Get some pics up of yours, good to see new members cars. :thumbleft: As for your questions, I'm not entirely sure about the amount of Nugget G60s tbh. I think there are probably more than 300 G60s left though. Quite a few on here, club GTI and Edition38 as well. There are also a few 16v G60s knocking about. Most have used the KR as a base I believe, although I think there may be a couple using the ABF too. Its already a limited market with these cars, and they are at rock bottom pretty much price wise. You wouldn't de-value the car by doing it, but your pretty unlikely to see the money back it would cost you to do the conversion.
