J.C 10 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) After spitting the diff through the bellhousing on my V5 3.9FDR box, I reinstalled the original CHN VR6 box, I'm a bit concerned about the condition of it because when I engage the clutch in 1 st gear by quickly raisng pedal to biting point I get a knocking noise, I think it's play in the output, because when I jack the wheel up and turn them by hand there seems to be some play, Any ideas, normal? serious? etc Edited April 25, 2014 by J.C got my FDR's mixed up

J.C 10 Posted April 25, 2014 Thanks for the offer, £30 is a very good price but I actually like the standard ratios, they are well suited to the 24valves low down torque, I'm sure someone will snap it up at that price.

Its been here for 4 years, I'll end up weighing it in, which would be a shame, there's 3 other gearboxes in my shed with another imminent......
