doorcard bits swapping

so simple question before i put too much work into a interior

 

a. will a late interior fit into early car?

b. i take it there is no spec difference between models? i.e. a valver interior would fit a vr/g60

c. will the door handles from a early door card fit onto a late door card?

 

i know the speaker pods are different on early interiors and I'm guessing there not swappable, i only have the late interior to hand so i currently can't compare it to my early interior

Pretty sure they're all exactly the same including pods, just the switch position is different.

ah so even though the pods are different styles they're the same screw wise?

Same screw size bud . The switches were located in different places .

looking at the spaces for both sets of grab handles off both my different spec door cards....sorry don't have car to hand or both sets of plastics!! but the holes look different?

from a bit of research, early spec is small grab handle late spec is big the handle with extra bit of plastic and holes for the electric window part, and the lever pull for the doors looks a different shape slightly more slanted?

 

im guessing late spec plastic parts (window switches aside) don't fit early?

Yeah, the plastics are different (handles and door pull surrounds etc) I have some early cards with late pods in the garage, so they do interchange. Early window switches are on the door card, late style window switches are in the pods. Late style mirror switch is built into the door grab handle, early style mirror switch is separate in the card.
