feeenix14 10 Posted May 27, 2014 My car recently failed its MOT on corroded brake lines everywhere. My question is when i replace all of the hard lines and re-bleed do i need to do the clutch again ? I had an absolute mare getting it right before i took it to the MOT so I'm hoping its on a seperate circuit but I'm doubtful. thanks Sam
GrahamU 6 Posted May 27, 2014 You could probably get away without bleeding it but it you putting fresh fluid in then it would be good to do the whole lot
Dave W 0 Posted May 27, 2014 Shouldn't have to. If its like 16v cars clutch master is kept topped up from brake master. Even if you empty brake master, the clutch master will remain full. I had to replace brake master and clutch was ok after. Well, until slave cylinder failed week later !!
