fla 9 Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Boxed 10" subwoofer 10" sub in box covered in felt although its coming away in one area. Fits nicely in the LHS recess in the boot so it doesn't take up too much boot space. Cant remember the sub make, but think its Rainbow. The box is sealed so don't really want to take it apart to check the make. Prefer collection as its heavy and i imagine the couriers will be less than gentle! Will post some pics tomorrow. Rustynuts 0 Posted June 9, 2014 The design on the woofer front suggests it is a Caliber to me. I am half interested, could you take some measurements please so i can see if it will fit in my Mk2 please. Plus i would need delivery as you are too far away. fla 9 Posted June 9, 2014 not a problem, I'll take some this evening. Re packing, I'll look into it and get back to you. Don't think it will be more than around £
fla 9 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) some measurements: Length (base) - 46cm Width (base) - 31cm Height - 40cm The top is a trapezoidal shape (looking at the third photo): ------ - - - ------------------ the short side on the top is 15cm Longer side 40cm and it's staggered to allow a fit into the recess. Hope that helps Edited June 11, 2014 by fla
Rustynuts 0 Posted June 10, 2014 Ok thanks. I have measured the area in the Mk2 and it will fit, but will probably stick out too far for my liking. Let me have a think.
Charlie Garrad 10 Posted June 11, 2014 Is it possible to get a photo of it in the Corrado please? Thanks Charlie...
fla 9 Posted June 11, 2014 I've got a strut brace fitted at present so the sub doesn't go all the way back, in fact it sits around 3 inches out. You can see the positioning below. You would need to trim that part of the box and then the top lines up nicely with the bottom lip of the speaker shelf. If you don't have a strut brace then it fits fine as is.
