Okay,pub quiz time.

are the rear silencers on an 1800 16v the same as the1800 G60 (early type)?

I say no,because the 16v revs higher,my mate says yes because from the manifold back they are basically the same(unless theres a cat involved!)

Answer needed please before a punch-up ensues!! :lol:

The only thing that differs with C exhausts is the hangers. All are 2 1/4 inch bore, so your friend is correct.

 

Then again, I've had *far* too many Vodka redbulls and I could be talking utter poop :lol:

Well when i got my 1.8 16v the guy had all the reciepts one of which shows the (now old) rear box was for a G60.
