Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 1, 2014 Speaking of Corrado models, anyone know what the score with otto mobile is? I'm trying to get a model of every car I've owned (well, the good ones!) and every time I try and buy a MK1 GT1, MK2 GTI and a Corrado, they're permanently 'sold out'. I've noticed a few UK model resellers selling various otto mobiles at greatly inflated prices. Are they just buying them up in bulk or something? http://otto-models.com/en/volkswagen/103-volkswagen-corrado-g60.html
Jim 2 Posted October 1, 2014 Try these guys, Kev - I ordered a Scirocco MK2 Otto model for a friends birthday earlier this year from them and they were great to deal with and cheaper than anyone else on Otto stuff that I could find. Item was with me the next day and extremely well packaged. http://www.swapmeet-models.co.uk/
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted October 1, 2014 The Otto models sell out very quickly, you can subscribe to their newsletter, and they'll send out PDF's every couple of months. You can pre-order the models before they sell out :-) Got myself a few nice ones, Golf Limited, Rallye Golf, Corrado G60 and got an AMG Merc E60 on the way soon
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 1, 2014 Cheers guys! Swap meet list MK1 and MK2 GTIs, and a Corrado, but they are nearly twice the price of Otto direct! Plus the MK1 GTI in Mars red I want is £200 on there, sod that! :D Yeah ordered myself an E30 325i and a MK5 Golf W12-650 (because they don't do 'normal' MK5 GTIs yet) from Otto :) I am a member of Club Ottomobile but all that confuses me to be honest. Not an easy site to follow.
