Have vr6's always come with the speedlines on??

 

Because i've got a set of rims to sell and they're 5/100 original vw, its difficult to describe the style. It looks sort of like a porsche design 90 :?

I don't recall seeing them before, unless they look different off the car.

 

I can't get pics up at the moment :(

 

Any of your pics would be appreciated then i can say yes or no :wink:

 

Obviously they wouldn't have had to come of a corrado but that was my first thought. Suppose they could be an early mk3 golf gti design.

sounds like early GTi alloys to me................anyway the C VR has come mostly with speedlines........tho the exeptions are

I have seen a few VR's with a chunky 5 spoke, I think they are called brands hatch. They are listed on etka and look like this.

Yeah, as Brooksy says the Brands Hatch was also C VR only fitment. There's a few pics of C's with these wheels in the 1995 UK Corrado brochure.

come to think of it.......i'm pretty sure ive seen a late VR with those on up here in aberdeen.....must say thay look terrible compared to the design of the standard speedline....i'll try and get pics :wink:
