Mk3highline 10 Posted January 5, 2015 Hi after a ball ache of a weekend now I have a problem of the car not idling I narrowed it down to the throttle body not adjusting to stabilise idle It sounds like the motor in the body is not working I have had it apart and it was moving freely Besides a new replacement is thee a easy fix? Thank you
Mk3highline 10 Posted January 7, 2015 It's sorted its self out:shrug: Looking in to different options from something newer that's a direct replacement maybe slightly bigger
Jim Bowen 1 Posted January 7, 2015 I think the newer throttle body realign themselves or you can do it in vagcom. It may be that its sorted itself out.
Mk3highline 10 Posted January 7, 2015 I was not hearing the buzzing sound it normally makes and on the cheap scan tool it was not moving to help idle Might be a loose connection inside it?
