That seems pretty cheap for a Storm with such a low mileage - dam wish I had waited a month now!

Looks great but is it worth such a premium based on the mileage..... Well yes IMO. It twice what's mine selling for but done half my Milage I would want some better pics though close ups as they are not the best currently.

Wonder if it's gone to a trader and we'll see it for sale at like 13k in a few weeks time?

If it's gone to a trader I bet it'll be someone like KGF Classics or 4 Star Classics. Both specialise in cars of that era.

If it has it will be on their web site in a week's time for £15k

Bloody hell! Nice car but not worth that surely?

I've just had a conversation with a guy who may be selling a Mystic blue Storm, which i know he bought for £6,000 about two months ago. He tried to tell me he knows of someone with a similar car & he values that at £11,000!!! Think I'll be walking away from that if he tries it on. I know the Storm was a limited edition but is basically a VR6 with badges & trim & may command a small premium over a standard VR6. Opinions?

That is indeed the reality but ultimately it's seen as the run out model, and is therefore more desirable so does command higher prices.

And to be fair Mystic Blue was only available, for the Corrado, on the Storm unlike Classic Green which could be had on non-Storms.

Those who want a Corrado say they aren't worth it. Those who have one say they are.. Seems to be standard…

I can think of a few where 11k wouldn't even get you a look in...

Must say though I do like the cream leather on the green storm - great looking combination

Fair comment Jim.

But how much higher a price than a standard VR6?

Ultimately I think all cars are only 'worth' what someone is prepared to pay for them.

Unless I've misjudged the current market for the Corrado, Storm or not, 6-7k for a good 100,000 mile plus car is top money. Subjective I know & can of worms opened I suspect!:bomb:

Not really sure there is a clear cut formula as every Corrado is so different in terms of mileage, history, work that's been done, condition, etc! Storms just generally seem to fetch more.

Not a Storm, I know, but a lovely car, low mileage & belonged to Chris L on here I think. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Corrado-VR6-/151429637288?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2341e8e4a8

Unsold for months at £9,000.

Ahh Chuggs but that one has had basically a nut and bolt refurb. Every inch of it is near mint including all the bits you can't see.
