Declan Sedrick Lehane 10 Posted March 5, 2015 Hi All! Has anyone ever fitted Mk4 Golf Recaros into a Corrado? Opinions? Cheers
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted March 5, 2015 Plenty of people have fitted TT leathers so I can't imagine the Mk4 Recaro's being too difficult.
Harrier 1 Posted March 5, 2015 I think they are too big afaik
Declan Sedrick Lehane 10 Posted March 5, 2015 I was just thinking people fit MK4 R32 seats, so these should be a similar size?... Edit, I hope :)
Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted March 5, 2015 I've seen the TT baseball stitched seats in a Corrado before, looked OK! All that generation of Golf and A3/TT etc cars have the same seat rails in the chassis so they should all convert the same way!
Declan Sedrick Lehane 10 Posted March 6, 2015 I think I'll just go ahead and try it! I'll let you all know how it goes!!
VW_OwneR_85 2 Posted March 6, 2015 theres a guide on here in the wiki section to fit TT seats {if there the same rail system?}, i fitted mk3 ones for abit and my head was pretty much touching the headliner and im a short guy, i cannot imagine the mk4 ones to be any different in terms of height, completely kills the way the rado feels when driving aswell, http://wiki.the-corrado.net/tt_seats_fitting.html
daves16v 1 Posted March 6, 2015 I fitted Golf Mk4 Recaros to my B5.5 Passat and they are a tall seat but perfect for the Passat, I did look at fitting them into my Corrado but decided against it. The TT are a shallower seat but they are designed to fit a sports coupe with a low roof as per the Corrado and I think the mounting is different to the Mk4 type seat.
