It's my advert. Forum members can't reply to For Sale threads for some reason, it just has to be left as an advert.

Car isn't sold, I have a few interested parties. 1st one is coming to see it tomorrow morning.

Honestly don't know about not been able to reply to For Sale threads. Guessing it's to stop extra long threads starting and clogging up the Classifieds section.

No leaks on the car, doesn't yes any water or oil.

It has rotary controls as it's a '95 model. The direction control is stuck, but luckily it's stuck on the windscreen direction.

To be honest, the car as far from perfect and the bodywork lets it down, but at the end of the day it's a £500 car. If somebody was to spend £500 on a cheap runaround, they're not gonna get as cool a car as a Corrado!

For Sale threads on here have a long and colourful past - and the long and short of it is when we allowed For Sale threads to become discussions people complained (as thread crapping would happen, useful information would get buried, they went off topic (amazing I know), and various other problems) - so it was decided we'd try like some other places where For Sale posts are just that - and all discussion can happen via PM.

It has to be said things have been a lot less painful this way though it maybe means a bit more work for the seller in answering questions - that makes it pertinent to put as much information in the original post as possible though to answer any questions buyers may have.

Cheers.

Thanks for the clarification Jim. Makes sense to me and it's not really any hardship for me to reply to PMs.

You don't fancy a £500 Corrado do you?! Ha ha

Ha ha. I'm just hoping somebody buys it to run it as a cheap daily runaround, rather than breaking it for parts then scrapping it.

If you were a bit closer I would. It's certainly not gonna hang around at that price! I need a cheap commuter next year when my workplace changes.

Jokes aside

I need a Corrado NOW!

As I got bitten by the Corrado fever after buying mine 4 weeks ago .....

....driven for 1 week, now sat in the specialist garage on her 4th week :( :( :(

So your car might be a perfect stop-gap for me.....drive yours until my is fix.

Then park yours in the garage - drive my VR6.

Then winter time park VR6 in garage and drive yours with winter tyres - deffo WIN WIN situation!:thumbleft:

Sounds like it might be ideal.

I have somebody coming tomorrow at 11am who seems very interested, I then have a 2nd person who said he wants it if the 1st doesn't buy it.

There's also somebody possibly coming to see it on Sunday morning.

So we'll see what tomorrow brings, if the first two people don't take it, I could always drop you a text or something.

U mean I am the SECOND person?

But, I got proof u said "u have someONE seeing tomorrow" and not "SomeONE(s)!"

LOL

Right, I am 5mins from where u are, I will CAMP outside your garage until 11am (and then scare the 2 buyers off!)

Quick question, do the wheels have adapters? Aren't all 8v cars supposed to be 5 stud?

Cool, you can take my dogs out for their night walk whilst you're there, saves me a job!

No adapters needed, all 8v are 4 stud. Same running gear as the 16v, same crap brakes also!
