1992 corrado g60 to .:R32 project

Recommended Posts

Hi all, time to present my money debt. It's a 1992 corrado g60, when i bought it, i thought "need only new paint, bumpers and stop"... then was the time of, maybe a shaved/clean bay will be great...and i finished to start a r32 swap...damn! :bonk: some pics

when i bought from a friend (engine rebuilt from 40k km, horrible rieger kit, elettric recaro with new leather, and a lamborghini muricielago orange.

always burn the kit, and replaced with oem

after some month found a super occasion original us fromp bumper complete with side lights

and now after some search i've picked up in Poland a BDB 3.2 v6 engine from audi a3, 70'000km with an uncut engine loom.

and some goodies for it

i will run with a ccm gearbox, more cheap than a 02m swap and it will be enought for my drive.

Now a friend of mine from Germany is looking for me for complete vr6 front strut, alternator bracket and new alternator, starter, water pump and his ecu from a BUB engine but already ready to run on corrado swap.

hope to finish this project soon, i'm the first in Italy to do it, so i'm a little proud

1-not used

2-Ambient air temp sensor, use corrado (connects to G2/2)

3-Fuel pump earth trigger, T121/65

5-Earth

6

7-ECU relay earth trigger, T121/23

8-fuel pump live (20A fused), Lambda sensors (T26/16 & T26/23 fusebox A) & MAF T26/9

9-

10-ECU relay ignition live, T121/3

11-Speed sender, I don't have this wire but needs putting in, think its T121/54?

12-Tacho signal, for the mk5 apparently I need to put a wire in T121/37

G2

1-Oil temp sender, use corrado

2-Ambient air temp sensor, use corrado (connects to G1/2)

3-Coolant temp sender, use corrado

4-PCV valve T40/26

5-unused

6-unused

7-unused

8-Fuel pump live, T40/37

9-Permanent live, T121/62 ECU - unsure about this as its unfused and needs a fuse, anyone confirm this?

10-Oil pressure switch, use corrado

11-Oil pressure switch, use corrado

12-

Z - Injectors T40/21r .

so F G1 G2 and Z plugs are the "only" plugs in rado fusebox that i have to convert on 24v loom? thanks

They are the main conversion plugs, there are a couple more original wires, just single or double plus. I forget what they are for, fans and something else.

hi all guys, little question, my BDB engine got the throttle body with the cooling line. Can i change with a not cooled one? i think 90° in throttle body is not a good thing for the cold air in it.

cheers
