Spuddy 10 Posted July 5, 2015 Hi guys, Recently been finishing off a half complete corrado project that one of my customers has bought. He asked to have the vw retro fit alarm and immob removed as it wasn't working properly and had been installed in a very awkward place. After removing and reconnecting the wires that had been cut, and refitting all the oem plugs into the fusebox I'm left with a car that works perfect bar the fuel pump circuit. Basically the negative trigger from the engine control unit is not happening. The fuel pump relay has ignition live, and ive tested the wiring between relay and ecu. Plus all the ecu ground connections. I have also tested various other circuits up to the ecu and all are perfect. However when I test the relay socket I get a positive 12v for 1 second on initial ignition switch on (pump prime) and then 12v constant when cranking. This should be a negative trigger however so I am stumped at why this is happening.. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
