Which engine mounts ?

As above , where have people bought from ? Which make ? .Im not sure if you can still get oem or not . As im replacing everything i will need a set of these . Thanks chaps .

Ive no idea Jim . Ive been looking at Euro parts , Heritage . Having not removed my engine or gearbox im not sure which ones i need . I presume its a front and rear mount and a gearbox mount, also the rubber subframe mounts .

I got Vibratech mounts Rob, which worked out very slightly more than getting OE ones from the dealer in the end. Quite a few "which engine mount" threads about so worth a search and read if you're not sure whether to go OE or not. If you do mix it up a bit, stick with standard rear and GB, and get a fast road front would be my recommendation mate. They were still available from the dealer last year, but certainly not cheap. A good branded aftermarket manufacturer would be sufficient.

pretty sure that's what I have on the VR too sean

 

standard GB mounts & rear engine mount & then a VT front engine mount

Yes, Jay Renshaw. I have them too (plus his old "development" car!) and they are really good.

 

Wonder if it is worth getting them remade?
