peoples ice installs

after reading that stevemac has got 11 speakers in his car i was just wondering what other people have got in theres..in mine ive got an alpine media station head unit,mb quartz tweeters,kenwood door speakers,pioneer parcel shelf speakers ans a vibe 12 inch sub

Clarion TV head unit with TV tuner installed elsewhere, Clarion 6 disk CD changer, Centurion DVD player, JBL component speakers up front and JBL 6x4 speakers in the rear as well as an Infinity Basslink in the boot. Wireless camera receiver with camera built into my radio controled car... 8)

 

To be added:

 

Colour camera built into the rear VW badge

PC running Mediacar software to replace DVD player due to getting annoyed with the user interface on the one I've currently got...

Alpine CDE-9822RB head unit with latest JBL GTO series speakers ( 6 speakers ) with 6" x 9" speakers at the back ( cover drilled ).

Not very ICE but it sounds very good! :D

Small amp - 250 or 300W I can't remember

10" sub

still in progress but:

 

Pioneer P9400 HU (love this HU - auto eq / active xovers / time alighnment)

PG octane 8.0:4 amp (cheap and cheerful)

AD tweeters running off HU

AD 2Ohm 6.5" mids running off amp

custom fibreglass sealed door pods

sub tba (when I get round to buying one)

1F cap (dunno if Ill use this or not)

 

Used to compete etc but cant really be arsed any more. my days of big ICE are over :)

Nice and simple -

 

Alternator whine! RAAAAH! Can't get shot of it!

make sure your system has a good ground i ran a bigger ground to the head unit and made sure all the earth points where clean and totally bare metal which cured it on mine
