As in the plastic elbow? I got one I can send you. Pm me :) I think its due to my non vag rad, this will be my third one. they just leak, could i just remove it, put some liquid gasket sealant round the pit that slots in, then squidge it all together bolt it up and let it set? Ray1965 10 Posted July 24, 2015 I have a none VAG Hella rad fitted to my car, i don't have any problems with leaks on the elbow. Have you changed the "O" ring seal? As for using sealant not sure on this tbh, will get hot so dont know if sealant would be ok.
Jim Bowen 1 Posted July 24, 2015 I use that blue hylomar sealant on my rad neck, just to be sure it doesn't leak. Also put it on my thermostat housing.
EJ Taylor 22 Posted July 24, 2015 I thought that Ray but if you use the rubbery head gasket **** then surely that'll have a plenty high enough heat rating. Jim I'll let you know how it goes haha
VAG-hag 0 Posted July 24, 2015 let me know if you want one sending EJ. I have a new O ring for it too.
