Little consul screw above abs light.

I'm putting some of my interior back . The screw that goes up into the dash , behind the abs light is becoming a pain . It's fixed into the metal clasp and as tight as I can get it , but it won't pull the dash down to the centre consul . So I have a gap between the dash and the consul . Any ideas how I can get this tighter? It's only stiff hardboard so I can't see how I can sort it.

mine has a bit of a gap too which bugs me.

I've managed to close the gap a bit more by fitting the instrument black cover back on . I will have a think on this one Darren . Like I said though it's only hardboard and the part that fits to it is plastic , so they both give .

I think it bows slightly with age mine does too.

Very annoying Jon . When I'm sat in the seat , my eye is drawn to it . I might get a heavy weight and leave it on the dash over Christmas lol .

ive managed to close the gap , when i fitted the surround in front of the clocks .
