Wompa 0 Posted December 26, 2015 So.. Could a plastic valve cover on a VR6 keep the temp lower inside a enginebay and not act like a heatsinkt? I have a metal valve cover, and I have heard that the plastic one will not heat up the manifold as much. Is it worth doing?

Wompa 0 Posted December 27, 2015 Why im asking is because Im getting the VSR manifold fitted... and going to add Phenolic gaskets, and was thinking about this I heard years ago but cant find any facts that it does anything for the heat.
