BarberG60 10 Posted January 16, 2016 Our 92 VR6 currently has an annoying problem. Sometimes, normally when at low speed in traffic is will violently .Kangaroo. It feels like the engine has no fuel. If you dip the clutch and give the engine a rev, it clears through. All ignition components are new expect the dizzy. There are no air leaks etc. I've read that the throttle position sensor can cause these kangaroo symptoms. Only happens at light throttle. Secondly, where on earth can I get a new one? Thanks
seanl82 23 Posted January 16, 2016 There are a few possiblities unfortunately and its hard to diagnose without seeing it. Does it judder when light throttle is applied in neutral? If so, unplug the maf and try again. If you can, I know its an early car but see if someone local to you has vcds and a 2+2 adaptor to plug into yours, and try to read the codes.
