2.0 8v Engine - Changing rocker cover query

Hi all,

 

RE:2.0 8v 1995

 

I have a new rocker cover that I have painted to put on to the car. Whiles I have this open. What would you advise I should/could change whiles I have this open.

 

I been advise to get a new Cam that should help with performance. (cant remember the brand he suggested)

If you can get a slightly higher lift cam like the shrick that kipvw has in his 2L then that definitely makes the 2L more sprightly

probably stating the obvious but see if vw still sell a complete seal for the cover (or get a tube of sealant if there isn't one on that model), saves doing the job twice
