Two electrical connectors on a bracket above the exhaust...what are they?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Apols for the vagueness of this request and lack of a photo (atm) ...at the bottom rear of the engine, just above the join of the centre section and front of the exhaust, there is a meaty bracket with what I think was an 8-or 10-pin connector and another smaller connector right next to it. The larger connector has two of the pins separated off so you can only put the connector on one way.

What are they for? The reason I am asking was the 8/10 pin one was pretty badly corroded on the contacts and one connector almost looked beyond repair :-)
