Rpmayne 0 Posted May 17, 2016 Just got the Corrado running after yet another year stored. The intake pipe between the throttle body and MAF has split and the idle is very rough. Probably not the only reason but I thought it would be a good excuse to buy a BMC CDA and replacement pipe. Problem is I can't find either.. Has anyone else tried to do similar recently? I thought BMC sold a specific kit and there was a fabricated ally pipe available to replace the flimsy intake pipe, maybe I'm wrong, or they are no longer available, or both.. swiftkid 1 Posted May 17, 2016 You might be thinking of the bonrath pipe, I think bmc comes with an attachment to the maf but not anything for other side of maf. Think the bonrath pipes are quite hard to come buy, its only a bit of ally pipe though! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

VAG-hag 0 Posted May 18, 2016 The 42 dd one is same as power roar and is not as pricey. Alternatively get one made up as Dave says it's a simple bent pipe
Rpmayne 0 Posted May 21, 2016 Thanks for replies, so universal BMC CDA as this link; http://www.dcperformance.co.uk/cheap/69408/volkswagen/bmc-cda-induction-kits/accda85-150.html The 42 dd (interesting google search results) OBD1 version for the VR6 Golf which I assume fits the Corrado; http://www.awesomegti.com/shop-by-brand/42-draft-designs/42-draft-designs-upper-intake-tube-mk3-golf-vr6/ That all sound right? Cheers.
diarmaid16 1 Posted May 21, 2016 The BMC CDA doesn't come with a connection to the MAF but you can get tubing cheap off ebay in any colour you want. Sent from my GT-I8200N using Tapatalk
