Arubberducky1 10 Posted June 18, 2016 The first time starting my car in the morning is always no problem but every time after that I have issues trying to start my car. I'm starting to believe that it is my ignition where the key turns in itself because i got my starter tested and it's perfectly fine. Sometimes jiggling my key inside works ever so often but now i have to push start my car whenever I go out places. Some help would be great just trying to solve my problem. Car is a 1990 Corrado G60. delfinis38 1 Posted June 18, 2016 Worth changing the ignition switch.. Their is a how too in the wiki.. Your need to bend a few screwdrivers to get the old and new switch in.
Thursdave 10 Posted June 18, 2016 Hijacking the thread here, but relevant - my ignition switch on my '91 G60 has never given me any troubles, but would it be worth changing it out anyway as a preventative measure?

I never had a problem with the switch itself, but it was the switch positive feed that didn't work in the switch so the radio a few other bits never worked... In my view they do break down... Fiddly to change.
