Madjackal 0 Posted November 30, 2016 According to VW heritage there are more than one type of these. I have a 1996 Vr6 and have been asked which make of steering rack I have as the part no. C1ho-422-804/B is for "For ZF rack only" Also....Part no for correct wheel bearing housing, I have C1H0-407-256 and 357407256C?? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
seanl82 23 Posted November 30, 2016 (edited) ZF is LHD only. You need the ones compatible with the TRW Rack. Also, PN for the steering knuckle/bearing housing is 1h0407255 (LH) & 256 (RH).
